Needham resident Jennifer Culgin, a Certified Nurse Practitioner, was recognized by Care Dimensions to celebrate National Nurses Week.
Care Dimensions recognized Culgin for her professionalism, leadership and commitment to patient care.
“The capacity to explain complicated medical information is something that everyone values about nurses and the confidence that people have in the technical skills of nurses is remarkable,” said Patricia Ahern, president and CEO of Care Dimensions and a 42-year nursing veteran. “More importantly, nurses are gifted with the ability to discern the worry and apprehension that folks can’t quite get into words when they are feeling vulnerable and isolated.”
Care Dimensions, the largest provider of hospice and palliative care services in Massachusetts, celebrates National Nurses Week May 6-12 by honoring its 251 nurses, many of whom are board certified in hospice and palliative care.
